Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi also known as Jalil ad-Din Muhammad Balkhi and more popularly simply as Rumi, was a 13th-century Persian poet, faqih, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic originally from Greater Khorasan.
