Jamal ul wujudi bidhikril ilah
Wa tasf ul hayatu bi nuri huda

جمال الوجود بذكر الاله
وتصفو الحياة بنور هداه

The beauty of existence is remembering Allah

Then life becomes pure with his guidance of light

Wa tatrabu nafs ul lahu ta’atan
Wa yablugh s’adun ila muntaha

وتطرب نفسه له طاعة
وتبلغ سعد إلى منتهاه

And the soul becomes assured in His obedience

Then happiness reaches its utmost peak

Fuaadun shaghufun ila rabbihi
Ahabba ridahu ahabba liqah

فؤاد شغوف إلى ربه
أحب رضاه أحب لقاه

A heart full of passion for its Lord

Which loves to satisfy Him and to meet Him

Yadallu yajio ila rabwatin

Qararin wa yasmu wadha mubtaghah

يضل يجيء إلى ربوة
قرار ويسمو وذا مبتغاه

Keeps returning to the sublimity of prayer

For him, it’s his home and all that he wants

Fala lahu yusnihi ‘an sairihi
Wala jam’a malin taghashsha hawah

فلا لهو يثنيه عن سيره
ولا جمع مال تغشى هواه

Not any amusement can divert him from his march

Nor collecting wealth can blind his eyes

Idha ma unadi munadil falah
Turahu lidhakka yahussu khuata

إذا ما ينادي منادي الفلاح
تراه لذاك يحث خطاه

When the caller calls towards success

You see him walk towards it, answering the call

Wa damun useelu ‘ala mushafif
Bihi yaghs ul lahu sukhman atah

ودمع يسيل على مصحف
به يغسل الله سخما اتاه

And tears that drip on Your book

By which Allah removes the sins

Fatilka sajaya liqalbi saleem
Ilal lahi dauman taduru raha

فتلك سجايا لقلب سليم
إلى الله دوما تدور رحاه

That’s how a sound heard should beat

Towards Allah, it always keeps returning

Faya s’da man kana da himmatin
Ila jannatin fi a’alin sama

فيا سعد من كان ذا همة
إلى جنة في اعالي سماه

How happy is he who has a high aim

To paradise in the highest of heavens
