Duas for Jannah [Paradise] & Ways to get Jannah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

In Islam, the ultimate goal of every believer is to attain Paradise, or Jannah, as it is known in Arabic. Jannah is described in the Quran as a place of eternal bliss and happiness, where the righteous will find peace, pleasure, and the pleasure of Allah. It is a destination that all Muslims aspire to reach. Here are some duas for Jannah everymuslim should ask:

 

Ask Jannah three times

 

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever asks Allah jannah three times, jannah says:

‘O Allah, admit him into jannah’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.'”

Allahumma ‘inniy ‘as’alukal jannata wa ‘oudu bika minannar

O Allah, I ask You to grant me Paradise and I take refuge in You from the Fire.

12 Sunnah Prayers

 

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
‘Whoever persists in performing twelve Rak’ah from the Sunnah, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before the Zuhr, two Rak’ah after Zuhr, two Rak’ah after Maghrib, two Rak’ah after the ‘Isha’ and two Rak’ah before Fajr.

 

 

Ayat al-Kursi after obligatory prayer
Narrated Abu Umamah (RA):
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing but death will prevent him from entering Paradise.”

Surah Ikhlas

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

Whoever recites Qul huwa Allahu ahad ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.

(Sahih al-Jami’ al-Saghir, 6472).
