First Kalima (Tayyab)
لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اﷲُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اﷲِ
’’اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔‘‘
Laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Muhammadur-Rasoolu-llaah
There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

Second Kalima (Shahadat)
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لاَّ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْکَ لَهُ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ.
’’میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ بیشک محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ) اللہ کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔‘‘
Ash-hadu Al-laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wahdahoo Laa Shareeka Lahoo Wa-Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan ‘Abduhoo Wa Rasooluhu.
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger
Third Kalima (Tamjeed)
سُبْحَانَ ﷲِ، وَالْحَمْد ﷲِ، وَلَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّااللہُ، وَﷲُ اَکْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاﷲِ الْعَلِيِ الْعَظِيْمِ
’’اللہ پاک ہے اور سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں اور اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں اور اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔ گناہوں سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیکی کی توفیق نہیں مگر اللہ کی طرف سے عطا ہوتی ہے جو بہت بلند عظمت والا ہے۔‘‘
Subhaana-llaahi Walhamdu Lillaahi Walaaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wallaahu Akbar. Walaa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaahi-l ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem.
Glory be to Allah and all praise be to Allah, there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no might or power except from Allah, the Exalted, the Great One.
Fourth Kalima (Tauheed)
لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ ﷲُ وَحْدَهُ لَاشَرِيْکَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْی وَيُمِيْتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَّا يَمُوْتُ اَبَدًا اَبَدًا، ذُوالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَعَلٰی کُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْر
’’اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لئے تعریف ہے، وہی زندہ کرتا اور مارتاہے اور وہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے، اسے کبھی موت نہیں آئے گی، بڑے جلال اور بزرگی والا ہے۔ اس کے ہاتھ میں بھلائی ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔‘‘
Laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wahdahoo Laa Shareeka-lahoo Lahu-l Mulku Walahu-l Hamdu Yuhyee Wayumeetu Wahuwa Hayyu-l Laa Yamootu Abadan Abada. Dhu-l Jalaali Wal Ikraam. Biyadihil Khair. Wahuwa Alaa Kulli Shai-’in Qadeer.
There is none worthy of worship except Allah. He is alone and has no partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and for Him is all praise. He gives life and causes death. In His hand is all good and He has power over everything
Fifth Kalima (Astaghfar)
اَسْتَغْفِرُ ﷲَ رَبِّيْ مِنْ کُلِّ ذَنْبٍ اَذْنَبْتُهُ عَمَدًا اَوْ خَطَاً سِرًّا اَوْ عَلَانِيَةً وَّاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِيْ اَعْلَمُ وَمِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِيْ لَآ اَعْلَمُ، اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ وَسَتَّارُ الْعُيُوْبِ وَغَفَّارُ الذُّنُوْبِ وَلَاحَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاﷲِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
’’میں اپنے پروردگار اللہ سے معافی مانگتا ہوں ہر اس گناہ کی جو میں نے جان بوجھ کر کیا یا بھول کر، چھپ کر کیا یا ظاہر ہوکر۔اور میں اس کی بارگاہ میں توبہ کرتا ہوں اس گناہ کی جسے میں جانتا ہوں اور اس گناہ کی بھی جسے میں نہیں جانتا۔(اے اللہ!) بیشک تو غیبوں کا جاننے والا، عیبوں کا چھپانے والا اور گناہوں کا بخشنے والا ہے۔ اور گناہ سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیکی کرنے کی قوت نہیں مگرا للہ کی مدد سے جو بہت بلند عظمت والا ہے۔‘‘
Astaghfiru-llaaha Rabbi Min Kulli Dhambin Adhnabtuhoo ‘Amadan Aw Khata-an Sirran Aw ‘Alaaniyata-wn Wa-atoobu Ilaihi Min-adh Dhambi-l Ladhee A’lamu Wamina-dh Dhambi-l Ladhi Laaa A’lamu Innaka Anta ‘Allaamu-l Ghuyoobi Wasattaaru-l ‘Uyoobi Wa Ghaffaaru-dh Dhunubi Walaa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaahi-l ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem.
I seek forgiveness from Allah, who is my Creator and Cheriser, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly. I also seek His forgiveness for all sins which I am aware of or am not aware of. Certainly You (O Allah!), are the Knower of the hidden and the Concealer of mistakes and the Forgiver of sins. And there is no power and no strength except from Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
Sixth Kalima (Radd-e-Kufr)
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ اَنْ اُشْرِکَ بِکَ شَيْئًا وَّاَنَا اَعْلَمُ بِهِ وَاَسْتَغْفِرُکَ لِمَا لَآ اَعْلَمُ بِهِ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّاْتُ مِنَ الْکُفْرِ وَالشِّرْکِ وَالْکِذْبِ وَالْغِيْبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيْمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِيْ کُلِّهَا وَاَسْلَمْتُ وَاَقُوْلُ، لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اﷲُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اﷲِ
’’اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس بات سے کہ میں کسی شے کو جان بوجھ کر تیرا شریک بناؤں اور بخشش مانگتا ہوں تجھ سے اس (شرک) کی جسے میں نہیں جانتا اور میں نے اس سے (یعنی ہر طرح کے کفر و شرک سے) توبہ کی اور بیزار ہوا کفر، شرک، جھوٹ، غیبت، بدعت اور چغلی سے اور بے حیائی کے کاموں سے اور بہتان باندھنے سے اور تمام گناہوں سے۔ اور میں اسلام لایا۔ اور میں کہتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں
Allaa-humma Inneee A’udhu-bika Min An Ushrika Bika Shay-awn Wa-ana A’lamu Bihee Wa- astaghfiruka Limaa Laaa A’lamu Bihee Tubtu ‘Anhu Wata-barraatu Mina-l Kufri Wash-shirki Wal-kidhbi Wal-gheebati Wal-bid’ati Wan-nameemati Wal-fawahishi Wal-buhtaani Wal-m’aasi Kulli-haa Wa-Aslamtu Wa-aqoolu Laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Muhammadu-r Rasoolu-llah.
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from that I should ascribe any partner with You knowingly. I seek Your forgiveness for the sin of which I have no knowledge. I repent from it. And becoming disgusted of disbelief and idolatry, lying and backbiting, innovation and slander, lewdness and abomination and all other acts of disobedience, I submit to Your will. I believe and I declare that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
